Crawford County BEST Tilson Award - Gochenour Meats and Drive-Thru

This year’s Tilson Award will be given at the Crawford County B.E.S.T. (Business/Education Student /Teacher) Award ceremony on May 4, 2011. The Tilson Award is given to commend companies for their outstanding support of education. Buckeye Central Schools nominated Gochenour Meats and Drive-Thru owned by Shirley VanEerten for their contributions to both education and the community.
Gochenour's has been a steady business in the New Washington community for many years. They are a well known business that provides quality meats and products and bring many people to our community for their excellent choices and prices. Gochenour's has been a strong school supporter ever since it opened as a business. They support our local schools, both Buckeye Central and St. Bernard's in numerous ways.
Financially they have supported our sports, music and school programs by providing us with discounted products and sponsorship of activities. They advertise any activities that our school is hosting. They often provide our in service days with quality products and our staff is very appreciative of the excellent food that comes from Gochenours. Mrs. VanEerten and her staff are always willing to go the extra to help out our school no matter what the cause and the Buckeye Central community is fortunate to have such an ardent supporter of Buckeye Central Schools.
