Crawford: 20/20 Vision Public Safety/Drug Abuse Updates

Although he no longer resides in Crawford County, Mike Gottfried still considers this home. Gottfried, a Crestline native, former college football coach and analyst and founder of Team Focus, was the featured speaker during the Together We Hurt, Together We Heal dinner on September 13, 2011.

Together We Hurt, Together We Heal is a group of citizens working to combat the drug problem in Crawford County. Formed by 3 mothers who have dealt with drug abuse head on, the group held a fundraiser on September 13 to raise support for a transition house.

The following are the minutes from the Crawford: 20/20 Vision Public Safety/Drug Abuse Action meeting held on September 8, 2011. The next action team meeting is Thursday, September 15 at 3pm in the Galion Library.

Members of the Crawford: 20/20 Vision Public Safety/Drug Abuse action team on Thursday, July 7. During the meeting, team members discussed measurable outcomes. According to Dr. Stephen Novack, team leader, the team is taking this approach to "determine whether any of our efforts are useful or effective."
