Develop future leaders in the county

Actions within two years:

• Establish a county wide leadership development program that, at a minimum, familiarizes participants with the various functions and processes of public service throughout our county. Develop curriculum, scheduling, marketing and funding for a stand-alone program that will improve the leadership strengths in the county and bring more residents forward with the passion and skills to lead in both public and private sectors, whether elected, appointed, volunteers or paid professionals. Enroll citizens from all walks of life in the classes offered by the program and establish linkages with existing youth/teenleadership programs, expanding them as needed. Strongly suggest enrolling the 20/20 Leadership Committee and Action Team members to enhance their understanding of the 20/20 Vision.
