There's a new playing field for businesses in the state of Ohio and Crawford County.

On Sept. 6, 2011 at 5:30pm in the Youth Building at the Crawford County Fairgrounds, the Crawford: 20/20 Vision Business Success/Job Availability action team will host a panel of state leaders including Mary Taylor, Lieutenant Governor. During the event, leaders will discuss these new realities and how they impact businesses in Crawford County.

Wurm’s Woodworking was established in 1947 in the village of New Washington, Ohio.

Still family-operated, the relatively small manufacturing business has made big progress in recent years.

The company is now a registered precision fabricator of cut-to-size component products from engineered, composite and plywood panels (as well as high pressure laminates and polymer sheet materials).

FC Banc Corp Announces 2nd Quarter 2011 Increase in Earnings

The Board of Directors of Farmers Citizens Bank and FC Banc Corp. announced their second quarter ended June 30, 2011 earnings highlighted by an increase in net income of 65.2% over the 2nd quarter of 2010 and an increase of 42.5% for the six months ended June 30, 2011 over that same period in 2010.  The Board also declared their quarterly dividend.
