The CRAWFORD: 20/20 Vision initiative is an unprecedented effort to bring together the people of our county to take charge of our challenges and turn them around. The initiative will develop and implement a Crawford Vision that will guide our county for the next decade.

Throughout this web site there is information about our county and its challenges, how the CRAWFORD: 20/20 Vision initiative is working to address these challenges, and how the people of Crawford can get involved to help drive us forward.

	June 16 was the eighth and final Crawford: 20/20 Vision general community meeting. Issue-specific meetings are slated for August 16 and 17. Check back often for more details.


	What's YOUR vision for Crawford County? As we move to the solution-building stage, community members of all ages are invited to participate in the Vision's "create-a-county" contest. Paint a picture, snap a photo, write an essay - be creative! Tell us (or show us) how you see our county now and how you envision it in the future. Prizes will be awarded. 	The Vision is moving into phase two: solution building. Four issue-specific meetings will be held August 16 & 17 focusing on topics identified by community members during our eight general community meetings. The topics are: public safety and drug-related issues, workforce quality and education, quality of life, and business success and job availability.
